Absolutely fresh and marvelous Vietnamese restaurant, been going for 30 years. Family atmosphere. Recommend the whole fish and the pork and salad entree. Soft shell crabs in season are marvelous to

1.1 miles. Best Phở in Northern Virginia. Little Saigon moved out of Clarendon, they stayed. A lot of Vietnam vets go there still and get sentimental. The owner may have been an American soldier guide and has been so honored. Definitely try Saigon soft shell crab they fry so it looks like it’s still on its tippytoes if you eat shellfish & it’s in season. Green papaya salad with tofu and yellow coconut curry with steamed tofu if you are being good. Hot Phở soup is really good on a hot day- I don’t know why. (Phở is pronounced fa like in the Do-re-me song by people who seem to be in the know. Everyone else says it like street vernacular “fo’ da’ money.”) See how high you can top it with basil & bean sprouts.

Clarendon used to be known as Little Vietnam in the 80's but this restaurant is the only remaining restaurant from that period. Interesting to check out the history but we prefer 4 Sisters Grill.
