This is the local pub, 5 minutes walk down the hill. The landlord, Guy is the nicest man in the world and his staff are wonderful. You will feel so welcome, matter who you are! Cosy, good food, good service. Fireplace, back garden. Highly recommended if you want get that Cotswold country vibe.

The Plough is a lovely little pub, ideally located at the end of decent walk across tracks, fields and woodland from Glenfield Cottage. A favourite Sunday lunch destination when I lived at Glenfield Cottage growing up, The Plough serves good beer, wine and food, and is just what you need after an hour long tramp over the countryside. (nb. journey times are VERY approximate)

The Kingham Plough offers beautifully refurbished and inviting communal spaces with a traditional bar furnished with country antique pieces upholstered in stylish prints, quirky vintage finds sourced locally, and on the walls, original photographs, sketches and prints by renowned 20th century artists (all for sale).

Superb pub and restaurant located in the beautiful village of Kelmscott. Combine a visit to the formr home of William Morris (Kelmscott Manor) with lunch or dinner here. Pretty outside seating area for the warmer months, or relax by the fire in winter evenings. Boking essential. No food served on Monday.
