Mirembe Cottage: 45 acres of peace

Mirembe is a Ugandan word meaning peace and tranquillity; this perfectly describes our 45 acre property. The cottage is privately set on the edge of our forest: Sit on the verandah watching the kangaroos, search the trees for koalas; at night look to the sky to see the million stars, fireflies in the creek or into the firepit flames. Take a stroll through our private trails: Nature surrounds you. Breakfast food supplied, and a few locally made frozen dinners in the freezer- but not free.

The beach house on the hill

Our little studio is attached to our house, therefore you might hear us from time to time. It’s a beach style place , where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast on your own private patio. Please note that there is a simple outdoor kitchen, with sink ,BBQ, fridge, kettle and microwave. You have a private entrance via the front yard ( as seen on one of the photos). Our neighbourhood is quite , and you might see some of our beautiful wildlife, like colourful Rainbow Lorikket and kangaroos

Sun Filled Beach Guest House, Mudjimba

Our private Guest House is just a short stroll from beautiful Mudjimba beach offering you a relaxing romantic getaway or a creative space to work. One bedroom with Queen bed, desk, crisp linen, comfortable lounge, TV, dining area and window seat. A full kitchen includes a coffee maker, although we highly recommend the local cafes and restaurants which are an easy walk away. It is nestled on a 30 acre property and so close to the Coast's attractions - Coolum Beach (8 mins), Noosa Heads (20mins) and Eumundi (12 mins). We do welcome your dog and can even accommodate your horse by prior arrangement.

Our property is a working horse property with 3 goats and a miniature pony, called Jerry.
