The fully equipped kitchen contains everything you need for your self-catering stay. Walking distance to the chippy, local cafés, shops and restaurants. Free on-street parking, Pets welcome.

Stay in our delightful country house. 2 double beds. TV. Bathroom with WC, basin + electric shower. Landing with click clack sofa bed. Sole use of snooker room and bar area. Nestled in the leafy suburb of Dore, on the edge of the Peak District and Sheffield. Self contained garden studio, with open plan kitchen/living room, shower room and upstairs loft style bedroom with double bed, sloping ceiling with some restricted height & garden view. Private garden space & alfresco dining area for own use. May not be suitable for very tall or elderly people due to height restrictions and narrow stairs. Feel free to ask prior to booking if any concerns.

The cottage is set in the wonderful landscaped grounds and gardens of bank view farm next to the orchard with its geese and giant tortoises. Set on the edge of the peak district moors with pubs on your doorstep, this is the perfect location for an idyllic rural retreat.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
