Escape from NYC and enjoy a slower pace in this bright and spacious historic home, just a short walk to the Hudson River where you can sit by the water, enjoy a picnic, or kayak. This home is made for entertaining and is stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal (cast irons, French cookware, baking supplies, spices and oils). There is a little view of the river from the backyard where you can also build a fire. 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and one full air mattress also available.

The farm shares space with nature as it is - country life. Pony rides for children by prior arrangement.

Overlooking the Kinderhook Creek rapids on a rural paved road and AHET Rail Trail. Minutes to Hudson and Kinderhook. You may see Carolina Wrens, Cardinals, Chickadees, Woodpeckers, Goldfinches and Hummingbirds. The creek to the front attracts Bald and Golden Eagles, Osprey, Blue Herons, Red Tail Hawks, Ducks and Geese. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED.

We recently rebuilt the entire interior of an old brick building and imagined the first floor (*** the entrance is at the back of our house***) as a guest unit for our friends & family during visits. When we do not have friends & family visiting, we are offering this space to you! We are architects by training and have placed our aesthetic energy in making this unit modern but also cozy.
