La baita si trova a 1400 metri nella caratteristica borgata Sant'Antonio di Ostana, lontana dai circuiti turistici di massa. La baita ha una bella esposizione a sud-ovest, e dalla sua ampia terrazza si gode una vista spettacolare sul Monviso e sulle montagne circostanti.
