The Old Shop

The Old Shop Halifax, is just a short drive from the M62 motorway. It consists of a bedroom with double bed or for friends, (from 27 June) two singles . A living room with TV, WiFi and “Book Swap”. A kitchenette/dining area & also a shower room. We can supply a travel cot and/or folding bed on request, a high chair is also provided. Parking is on street but it’s rarely a problem. Eating out, you have great choices, there are many local good pubs, restaurants and takeaway's to choose from.

Bramble House Annex is a self-contained semi-detached two story house, in a beautiful countryside setting. Self catering accommodation, suitable for leisure, business or a romantic escape for two. We are dog friendly for a maximum of two dogs, in a perfect setting for walking and outdoor pursuits near by. The annex is on two levels, entrance, open plan kitchen, dinning and living room. Upstairs is open plan with a double bed with an en-suite shower room and a separate walk in wardrobe.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
