Foolow (originally "la foulowe" - 1284) meaning a hill frequented by birds, is one of the hidden gems of the Peak District. Within easy travel to many Peak District attractions and walks. 'The Tack Shed' is a well equipped, yet rustic, camping barn adventure or retreat, with a woodburner to keep you cosy; hayloft bedroom and a composting loo across the yard. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and It's a two minute stroll into the village where you'll find a shop, post office, and several places to eat.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
