Idyllic, The Coach House, Ashford-in-the-Water

This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

Beautiful walks & cycling await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

The accommodation includes a mini fully equipped kitchen area, perfect for making breakfast in bed. The Coachman’s Hideaway is a room in our home but with its own entrance.

Chert Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell Peak Dist

Chert Cottage is a delightful and private two bedroomed detached cottage in the centre of Great Longstone. The cottage sits off the road with its own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House.
