Trillium Cottage at Lake Santeetlah

Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

The Bothy - 28 acre private retreat

This custom designed, modern cabin is made for connecting with nature in comfort. The cabin sits by itself on 28 private acres with meadows, forest, a small creek, and trails. You have privacy and space to wander and are still just 15 minutes to town, 10 minutes to Lake Santeetlah, and 1 mile off the Cherohala Skyway. A Bothy is a Scottish term for a small simple farm building that travelers can shelter in. The cabin and land are a perfect place to relax in the Appalachian mountains.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Enjoy your stay in this 100 year-old farmhouse located on 25 pristine privately-owned acres in the Smoky Mountains. The 1,038 square foot house is surrounded by undeveloped property on the banks of the Cheoah River.

The cabin is equipped with linens/towels and most everything you need to cook a meal., just bring groceries and personal items. This cabin is also handicap accessible. WIFI is now available. Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Knotty & Nice - Mtn Views Near Tail of the Dragon

Our cozy mountain home has breathtaking views of Smoky Mountain National Park from all main living spaces. With two living rooms, large outdoor deck, and nearly 1.5 acres, there is no shortage of space to spread out. This home is nestled just a short drive up the mountain from Fontana Village resort/marina and 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. It includes a carport and is easily accessible by paved roads and a circular paved driveway.

Firefly- A cozy mountain getaway

Step into nature’s paradise! Watch the fireflies while listening to the babbling creek from the screened in porch. Firefly, a 2 bedroom house tucked in the woods, is near Fontana and Lake Santeetlah. It’s a short drive to the the Smoky Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. The house is located 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail. WE NOW HAVE WIFI!!! No RVs allowed.
