Our charming rental cottage, nestled in the scenic village of Alkborough, offers a perfect getaway for nature lovers and history enthusiasts. Light and surprisingly spacious it offers a tranquil bolthole yet conveniently situated for travel to Hull, Beverley, Doncaster, York, Sheffield, Leeds, Melton, M62 and beautiful East Yorkshire Wolds. The mainline station is within easy walking distance with woodland and countryside walks on the doorstep including the Yorkshire Wolds Way. Free on street parking. 2 pets allowed.

The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Lavender Cottage, Welton

Our beautiful period cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Welton, East Yorkshire. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Hull, Beverly, historical York or exploring the vast Yorkshire Wolds. The beautiful Yorkshire coast is within an hour and a half’s drive. Filey, Bridlington, Whitby all fantastic seaside towns to explore. We have lovingly restored the cottage to the highest standards and hope you appreciate the beautiful items we have chosen.

The Stables - North Ferriby

The Stables is a charming property located at the heart of the lovely village North Ferriby. The property has recently been converted in 2024 to a high standard whilst being sympathetic to the character of the building. Ideally situated for travel being on the M62 corridor. The the local pub, cafe, Co-Op and Indian restaurant are just yards down the road. The train station is a 9 minute walk, with countryside walks on the doorstep including the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
