The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Out of the Blue Cabin, A Mountain Escape

Out of the Blue Cabin cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin located in quaint West Jefferson, NC. With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Bed linens, towels, washer and dryer are included in your stay.

Carter’s Hill Cottage sits on two acres and is only three miles from the Twickenham House. Enjoy the sun coming over the mountain while you sip on a hot coffee while sitting on our fully covered front porch. The cottage is only minutes from the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson with a view of Mt. Jefferson (4665 ft) in front of the cottage and Phoenix Mtn to the rear of the cottage. Although you are so close to all the fun, you are secluded with no neighbors in view.

Located in beautiful, historic downtown West Jefferson, UpTown Loft is a great place to stay and see the NC mountains without roughing it. This two bedroom two bath loft has a large master suite and two queen beds. There is a fully-equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. We are one to two blocks from restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee shops, cafes, galleries, shops, parks, the farmers market, and a first-run movie theater.
