Step back in time and find rest and relaxation without sacrificing modern conveniences. The Chesteen is named after Chesteen Wildes, the current owner's great grandfather. Built in 1890.

1880 Lake House Log Cabin - GAME ROOM! Kayak! AC!

Beautiful Log cabin built circa 1880, originally located on a farm in McRae, Ga. the cabin was labeled log by log, disassembled and reassembled on a beautiful lake in Douglas, Ga. Modern Amenities such as Heat/AC, plumbing and electric has been added to the house when it was moved. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a Queen bed, couch is a pull out queen and there is two single folding beds. You will find a Game room, smart Roku TV, kitchen, fire pit, John boat with well and an outdoor grill.

Welcome to our little yellow house! This home is over 100 years old. It’s a quirky little thing with uneven floors and walls. Most of the house has its original walls and ceilings! It’s been added on to several times. We’ve given it lots of tender loving care to get it back to its beauty! You will love staying in this peaceful setting in our vineyards! While you’re here, be sure to visit our tasting room and store. We even have fresh fruit in season!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In close proximity to the center of town yet very quiet area. Our home is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath with a large living room. The sofa in the living room has a bed to accommodate 2 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dinning table. We have a small coffee station for guest enjoyment.
