We'd love to have you as our guests on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies!! We're somewhat new to Airbnb, but not new to providing wonderful stays at our place in Townsend. Located 2 miles up the mountain from the Townsend Visitor Center, we're in a gated community (not a cabin village) that gives you a private, serene experience just 3 miles from the entrance to the Smokies. We’re in a private neighborhood, so we ask our guests to observe speed limits, one way roads, and quiet hours. Have fun!

Located 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes from Gatlinburg Higgins Hideaway offers convenient proximity to all major attractions while providing the privacy guest need to relax and unwind. Roads are steep/curvy/uphill but paved. In NORMAL weather conditions 4wd is not needed.

The kitchen is loaded with nice pots and pans and pottery baking dishes. Every bedroom has a television as do both living rooms. The top of the property is locally considered one of the best views in Townsend.
