The home's lower level retreat is close to the French Broad River, bike trails, Dupont and Pisgah Forest, and about a 10-minute drive to downtown Brevard. We have recently acquired a hoot owl and a couple of our famous white squirrels that are now in the trees around the house. The drive to downtown includes great views of the mountains. The space is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The cabin is centrally located among world class hiking, biking, and breweries. There are virtually no mosquitoes, and our microclimate makes this area significantly cooler than Asheville. There’s a ton of cool stuff to check out, and a clean, contemporary space to come home to. The cabin was a former artists’ retreat, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, crisp AC, and Netflix.
