2023年に新しくオープンしました！ 場所は和歌山県の高野山で、天空の聖地と呼ばれ、標高900mほどの峰々に囲まれた山上盆地であり、町全体が世界遺産にも登録されています。 10年以上の高野山でのゲストハウス（Koyasan guesthouse Kokuu）の運営の経験を生かし、新たなチャレンジとして高野山内では初めての一棟の貸しを開始しました。 この宿は元々長年使われていなかったガレージをリノベーションしたもので、「山に籠るように過ごしてほしい」という思いから山籠（さんろう）と名付けました。この宿を隠れ家のようなものとして、選りすぐりの民芸品や器も楽しんでいただけるようにと思いを込めています。 一日一組限定で、完全にプライベートな空間と時間を提供します。友達や家族、カップルなど最大4名まで宿泊が可能で、自分とひたすら向き合う時間に、大切な人と思い出深い時間をお過ごしください。※宿泊中は完全に貸切状態で、他のゲストはいません。 チェックインはテンキーでの入館になりますが、入館後必ずホストが直接ご挨拶に伺い、施設案内、高野山の観光案内を致します。その他、滞在中は何でもご相談ください

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

【Yukimura】Samurai style|Famous painter|3-Min Metro

[Yukimura], located in Osaka’s Joto Ward, was built in 1909 (Meiji 42) and is a rare WWII-surviving home. Inspired by the Sengoku era, its bold red design honors General Yukimura’s crimson armor and katana. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

We collaborated with award winning architects at Ikken to renovate this space, which now accommodates the comforts of modern life, while retaining many of the original structure and elements from its past.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
