Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

100 year old Kyoumachiya 【４DK】３min Ginkakuji

This is a 90-year-old traditional Kyoumachiya certified by Kyoto City. World heritage Ginkakuji Temple and the path of philosophy are within a 5-minute walk. It is also a convenient location for Nanzenji and Heian Shrine. Kyoumachiya, where ordinary people enjoy the seasons and enjoy daily life, is a relaxing and nostalgic space. It is 92 square meters including the 2nd floor, and the wet area is easy to use and has been renovated, so you can spend it comfortably.

「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya].
