PLEASE NOTE: There are TIGHT STEEP STAIRS INSIDE OF THE HOME, as well as STEEP STAIRS OUTSIDE to get into the home from either entrance. WINTER - 4WD & CHAINS REQUIRED. We have the driveway plowed professionally and you will be responsible for shoveling the stairs and deck during your stay.

You’re invited to experience our Sweet Little Desert Oasis right in the heart of the Historic Comstock Gold District (15 minutes from Virginia City). This separate home is very private and in a quiet location. Ready to accommodate 2 adults (no children please). It is completely renovated with clean, neat furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, and bathroom. Sleep on a comfortable queen sized bed under a homemade quilt. Truckee River Bike House

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.

Our casita is located in Sparks, we are approximately 8 miles from 1-80 and 20 miles to Pyramid lake. If you want to stay close to home your welcome to take a stroll on the walking trails behind the property.
