House by the River

Guest suite is the entire front portion (approx 1000 sq ft) of our home. There are no shared interior spaces. Guest suite consists of 2 large bedrooms, living room, foyer, and large bathroom. Both bedrooms have large closets, TV, and new mattresses in 2024. Dedicated workspace and electric fireplace in front bedroom. Large living room with (non operational) fireplace and large TV. All 3 Tvs with Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc and high speed wifi. Large foyer with microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig.

The "Midnight Moon" Cabin, State Road NC

Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax by the fire or enjoy checkers on the porch, just soak it all in.

Watch it rise over the valley from our comfy loft bed while enjoying a cup of our signature coffee! Our kitchen is well-stocked to make your stay easy and enjoyable, including an outdoor grill! You can also enjoy the amazing views from outdoors by relaxing in a hammock or playing a round of cornhole, or sitting around a cozy fire (wood provided).”

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

We have lovingly restored this 1940s farmhouse in Elkin, located just minutes from some of North Carolinas best wineries! We have all the amenities to make you feel right at home. After a day of winery hopping, come back and enjoy some more wine and cheese in the beautiful, new spacious kitchen, or relax out back at the fire pit, taking in the expansive views! The quaint town of Elkin is located minutes away for dining and shopping, or go for a hike at Stone Mountain!

Whip-O-Will Cabin: Secluded Log Cabin Treehouse

Enjoy a secluded stay in our one of a kind, luxurious log cabin treehouse. The treehouse offers 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom on the main floor with a rock shower and the loft bedroom with a half bath. The treehouse has a full wrap around porch with jacuzzi tub overlooking a spring branch and fire pit. Enjoy the outdoor shower with a 16” rainfall shower head under the treehouse next to the spring branch. Our gravel road welcomes you to a cozy home in the trees.

The Tobacco Barn

Once a functioning air-curing tobacco barn turned into a Rustic, Cozy Cabin. Each tobacco barn is as unique as the area in which they are constructed. Travel back into the history of the farming and tobacco tradition that has greatly impacted our area. Make some memories at this rustic, hand built log cabin. This cabin was built using reclaimed pine logs from local tobacco barns. Both bedrooms are located in an OPEN LOFT upstairs. Privacy curtains are installed but do not block out noise The cabin is full of amenities including washer/dryer, hot tub, antique clawfoot tub with shower, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, large back deck, game area with foosball table, and beautiful views of the little Brushy’s.

We would love to host you in this charming historic home, known to our family as "Grannie's House". It was built in 1905 by my great-grandparents, and later converted to a duplex. This listing is for one side of the duplex. There is a shared parking area with the permanent resident of the other side of the duplex, but otherwise this listing is completely private- no shared interiors. Sunny and comfortable, this home is waiting for you!
