Newly constructed in 2019, take in treetop views from the loft nest overlooking interesting architectural lines and a cleverly designed open kitchen-living space. This entire house with private, dedicated access allows you to come and go easily. We provide luxury linens, a sparkling clean house and all the amenities of home. We're located steps from the popular restaurants and shopping of South Congress! Please note: you must climb a spiral staircase to get to the guest house. The second bed is in a loft accessible with a ladder. You need solid mobility. This guest house was completed in 2019 and is perched above a spiral staircase to get to the main floor. You will also need to climb a loft ladder to utilize the second queen bed in the loft so we do want to make sure you're aware and comfortable doing so. The house has tons of natural light, high end furnishings and 20 foot vaulted ceilings! It was designed and built for guests to have all the amenities like luxurious bedding and fixtures right in the heart of classics like Guero's, The Continental Club, Hopdoddy's, Home Slice and more! The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit Nespresso or Mañana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music during the weekends at multiple spots nearby! You'll have access to the entire guest suite and dedicated porch with outdoor seating. This is a completely separate guest house and so you have fully private and separate entrance. Aside from normal workdays we're often available in person but we are always just a text or message away! Come and go easily with private access to this inviting Travis Heights guesthouse. The lively South Congress commercial area, the Rainey Street Historic District, quiet tree-lined streets great for walking, and the downtown area are all just minutes away. The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit N-espresso or Manana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music at the weekend at multiple spots nearby and lovely local shopping! Uber and Lyft are staples of transportation in Austin as well as scooters and bikes that you can pick up on the sidewalk. We are on an express bus line as well that can take you near and far. You're in the heart of it all and it's easy to get around. We also offer 1 on-site parking space if you choose to rent or drive in your own car. The hotel next door is a popular venue for events that take place often on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This means there could be loud, live music for weddings and events. It ends by 11 pm on the weekends but be aware if you'd be disturbed by it. We love the energy it brings but it's not for everyone.

Striking Cabin with a Hot Tub and Mountain Views

OVERVIEW: The cabin boasts 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a king size bed. Each room has it's own full bathroom, with a Jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom. There is a sleeper sofa downstairs in the main living area. Both levels of the cabin have mountain facing porches which boast gorgeous views of Mt LeConte and the Smoky Mountains and that view can be enjoyed in the rocking chairs or the hot tub. There are fireplaces on both floors that add extra warmth and charm. There is a dining area just off the kitchen where you can share a great meal with friends or family. ENTERTAINMENT: Each bedroom and the main living room has it's own HD TV with cable TV and a DVD player. Upstairs there is a game room with a full size pool table, and arcade table and a mini air hockey table. The neighborhood has it's own pool and it is a short walk to a playground great for younger kids. There is free Wi-Fi so you can stay connected if you want. KITCHEN: The cabin has a full kitchen, with an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils as well as plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Outside there is a charcoal grill. OTHER: The cabin also comes with a washer and dryer, all the linens needed for the 2 king beds and sleeper sofa, bath towels and hand towels for the bathrooms and more. You have access to the entire cabin. The cabin is for you during your stay. I will not be there when you are there. Of course if you need help with anything I can be available. The cabin is located minutes from Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, as well as the quaint shops and eateries in Gatlinburg. Hiking and camping at Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short drive away. The Great Smoky National Park is the most visited park in the National Park system and for good reason. The natural beauty that can be found in the park, across all 4 seasons is breathtaking. With over 800 miles of hiking trails, it should be easy to find a trail that meets your needs. And if you just want to drive through the park, the winding mountain roads and the Cades Cove loop offer beautiful scenery as well. If you have questions on activities or hikes within the park, don't be afraid to reach out and ask.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. The carriage house has been professionally cleaned using CDC recommended guidelines. The builders of this space spared no expense on the details and finishes of this property. It is exquisite! The private entrance makes it feel like your own slice of Austin. Speaking of slices: check out East Side Pies for pizza nearby and The Wheel, Whislers, or Kitty Cohen’s for a cocktail! The Mueller development is 2 miles away where the H-E-B grocery store is located if you’re looking to cook your own meals in the kitchen. Guest access is through the right-side fence gate while facing the main house on property from the street. Access codes will be provided upon booking. The carriage house includes a balcony patio that guests may use. We’re available when you need us and you can also have all the privacy you like. We’ll gladly give you suggestions of things to see and do in Austin. The home is set in the East Austin neighborhood of Chestnut and a short drive away from vibrant eateries, BBQ joints, brewpubs, and parks. The University of Texas is nearby and Downtown’s iconic music venues and nightlife are minutes away by car. The MLK, Jr. Red Line light rail station is a short 8min walk from the unit and can be used to get into downtown or to AustinFC soccer games! Uber or Lyft are recommended to get around Austin. You can usually find one of the scooters 🛴 down the street near MLK Blvd as well. If you have a personal vehicle or rental car you may use street parking in front of the main home. Only a short drive to historic Charleston, SC! Please be aware that the property has a Ring video doorbell on the premises (at the front door). Open the yellow front door and enter a living room/kitchen combination that's got everything you need to relax comfortably after a long day riding the streetcar, strolling through Audubon Park and eating poboys and crawfish at Frankie & Johnny's. (See our complete list of the best neighborhood restaurants for more info.) A beautiful wood staircase leads upstairs to a light-filled bedroom, bath and tucked-away workspace. The cheery bathroom has subway tiles on the wall and penny rounds on the floor. There's a floor-to-ceiling window that provides access to a wraparound balcony with views of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and the lovely neighborhood. Two giant oak trees in front of the house provide a leafy green canopy for most of the year. You have your own completely private apartment and your own balcony. There is ample street parking in front of the house. You can walk to Magazine Street, Freret Street (also lots of restaurants and bars) and Audubon Park. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling. My place is clean, modern, private, light and furnished with attention to detail and design. It's close to Barton Springs & Zilker Park, ABGB, Soup Peddler - Real Food & Juice Bar, Gourdough's, Papalote, Phoenicia, Broken Spoke, Torchy's, Red's Porch, Kerbey Lane, Matt's El Rancho, Patika Cafe, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Wheatsville, Maria's. You’ll love the views into the trees, the location, the ambiance, the quiet near the action. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (but not child-proof). The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, and there are two separate bedrooms. The interior space is 750 sf, and the back deck is roughly 280 sf. The large sliding glass doors in both the living room and one of the bedrooms lend an indoor-outdoor living atmosphere, adding space and the feeling of being up in the trees. My place is the back unit in a duplex. It's very private and quiet, set off from the street. I'm easy to reach via Airbnb messaging, email or phone, happy to offer local tips. And of course I'm available should anything come up during your stay, as is the housekeeper. Listen to the quietness of this green and hilly neighborhood, close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. Alternatively, head for nearby South Lamar, which is loaded with restaurants, shops, cinemas, and cafes—there's plenty to do right nearby. My place is two blocks from a bus stop (on South Lamar that goes to Barton Springs, Bouldin Creek, downtown, etc.). 3 NIGHT MINIMUM OCTOBER 9–16 (during ACL Fest).
