Mama Moon Treehouse

This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. It has a bathroom with sink and toilet, hot water outdoor shower, wifi, heat, AC & more! Enjoy the outdoor space with, hammocks, grill and fire pit by the pond. It's 1 mile from Lake Alice so grab the paddle boards and head to the lake! Plus, book a sound healing or sacred ceremony while you're here!

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. Our cottage has an open loft style floor plan. Spacious, quiet, and light filled. 1.5 baths and 2 stories. Modern and elegant finishes on everything. Main floor has 1/2 bath off kitchen, and there is a full bathroom with shower near the bed located upstairs. It is a stand alone “guest house” in the back yard of the main house. Private parking right in front of the front door! Yard has fire pit, outdoor furniture and BBQ. A hidden oasis, right in the middle of the Ballard neighborhood.
