Drink in the panoramic view of the South Santiam River in our funky yurt! The yurt is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, futon, rocking chair, mini dinette, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Plates, glasses, silverware, bedding, and towels provided. Yurt is located near the main house, yet a privacy courtyard had been created for additional solitude. Hot showers and flushing toilets are in a separate, unheated building about a 3 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!

The fenced property is surrounded by trees and includes open fields with a vineyard, orchard, outbuildings, and gardens. It is four blocks from the main street in Falls City, and a river and waterfall are within walking distance. The hosts and their two children live 150’ from the tiny house. Guests who book our “Forge a Knife” Experience (Vonhelmick Knife Co) receive a 15% discount on their stay.

This serene property backs up to Abiqua Creek just outside the charming town of Silverton. Enjoy country living at its best five miles from downtown. Peruse the spectacular Oregon Garden or take a hike through the breathtaking Silver Falls State Park while you're here. The property is heavily treed for privacy with wide open spaces and patios in the front and back yards. An orchard out front includes mature apple, pear and plum trees that guests can pick and eat seasonally.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
