The Navigli are the canal network of Milan designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The area is lovely late in the afternoon for sunset pictures and in the evening with a lot of pubs and restaurants. Metro stop is Porta Genova, green metro line M2.

Garibaldi-Isola new area (stop is Garibaldi on the green metro line M2) shows beautiful parks and modern architectures like the Bosco Verticale (the building with the trees inside) and the Diamond. Isola quartier is nice also during the evening with a lot of fun bars and restaurants.

Milan Cathedral and the square are reachable by the yellow and red metro line M3-M1. Subway stop is Duomo. From here, if you walk into the cover gallery you reach the Scala Square where there is the famous opera theatre la Scala and Via Manzoni. From via Manzoni you can visit Via Della Spiga and the luxury fashion district.
