Great permanent collection and fantastic special exhibits such as "Being David Bowie" and "Frida Kahlo". The building is also a tasteful meld of classic and modern architecture.
The cafe and restaurant are both wonderful and there is an outdoor dining/sculpture patio.
Note: You can get a discounted combined ticket for the museum and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens which I recommend and is right next door.

A recent upgrade to the grounds and new modern facilities has made a wonderful Brooklyn asset even better. Wander through various different "neighborhoods" of flora outdoors and even indoors. With a restaurant, cafe, beautiful water features and a children's exploration area there is much to do and see in a beautiful environment.
