The Bear's Den

Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

A "lofty" perch - situated above a two car detached garage from the owner's residence - located atop Mulberry Mountain. Spacious bedroom with king bed includes a sitting area, queen sleeper sofa in living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. We provide a coffeemaker with coffee and filters, a Keurig machine with coffee pods. Set on 3/4 of an acre, in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by beautiful trees and a small creek you can listen to while enjoying your morning coffee on the covered deck. This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!
