It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

This special place is close to everything, including nearby shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance on the doorstep. It's also close to great walking, with Pendle Hill and Wycollar close by, also Skipton and Bronte Country a short journey away. Lucy Barn

Lucy Barn is a recently converted barn in center of the village. It is a "quirky" building finished in a unique style that combines well appointed accommodation with an industrial style. It is extremely convenient for the restaurants cafes and pubs and the large windows overlook the village square - ideal for people watching. It is super insulated with more than adequate heating. There is also a log burner for that "cosy evening feel". Ideal for a walking or cycling stay or a place to chill.
