Mountain cabin getaway

Our cabin is tucked away on a private road bordering the Chief Ladiga bike path, Big & Little Terrapin creek. It borders the Talladega National Forest and is walking distance to the Pinhoti hiking trail. We have private hiking trails on the property. The twin beds are in the low ceiling loft of the cabin and we have a couch in the living room. We have a hiking path that takes you up to an overlook with a swing Our property is on both sides of the bike path at mile marker 9 on the Chief Ladiga

Lakeside Escape at Joy Cove

This cozy lakeside guest suite is situated on a secluded cove of Cedar Creek and the Coosa River that lead to Weiss Lake. The Escape is relaxing, peaceful and convenient to Rome, Cave Spring, Tennis, Berry and other colleges. This is the perfect getaway for the outdoor enthusiast, with easy access to Weiss Lake, Little River Canyon, Rome's ECO Trails System and Berry Campus. Escape to nature and relax in your private courtyard, kayak the creek or rinse your cares away in the outdoor shower.

Spring Cottage

Welcome to Spring Cottage, a beautifully decorated cottage nestled in the charming downtown historic Cave Spring. This cozy cottage has a rocking chair front porch with an open concept design. This is a non-smoking, pet free environment. It is completely private with a front door code that will give you personal and secure access. The cottage is conveniently located within walking distance of unique shops, eateries, Rolater Park, cave exploration, historic buildings, Pinhoti trail and more.

Deep water Lake House

This is a small lake house with deep water access on spring creek at Lake Weiss. We have a 2 level boat dock and private boat ramp for small boats . The upper deck is great for sunning or enjoying the views and below is great for parking ur boat, fishing and swimming. We have a kamado Joe grill for smoking, roasting or grilling and a gas grill for convenience. Great screened in porch for times the bugs are out. Our house us pet friendly as well. Great vacation spot for time on the lake!!

Explore our beautiful 5 acre retreat and creek-side lodging near Terrapin Creek! We offer a spacious escape for small gatherings which provide access to all the local amenities within 15 miles of our location. Enjoy Alabama’s sought after trail riding, kayaking, hiking, game prize fishing, hunting, boating, floating and swimming. We are located along Terrapin Creek, a kayakers paradise, and only 0.5 miles north of Terrapin Outdoor Center, No Worries Kayaking and Redneck Yacht Club.

The Rock House

Located in a rural farming community just east of Jacksonville AL, the cottage at Nances Creek Farms is a quaint and cozy hide away with all the modern amenities. Perfect to rest, relax, and get away from it all! The Rock House has been the hub of our farming operation where we raise strawberries, pumpkins, produce, sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens, grand babies ( the 6th generation of our farm family) and more. Recent renovations now allow us to share with you this charming bungalow.

Tammy’s Cozy Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tammy’s Cozy Cabin is located minutes from Jacksonville and Piedmont, AL. It is close to biking, hiking, and horse trails. Jacksonville State University football, softball, and basketball. There are also wineries, museums, and kayaking. You can sit on the front porch or around the fire-pit and listen to the sounds of nature. It is located on the owners property but is secluded by trees. It had its own drive and self-check in.

Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

Mountain Lake Escape

This is a mother in law suite that is located right at the foot of Lookout Mountain and just in front of Weiss Lake. Here you are less than a mile from a public boat access. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The suite sets just above our attached garage that you will have a parking space in to keep you out of the weather. It has its own door and is separate from the main house.

Choccolocco Retreat

Located on 7 acres in the beautiful Choccolocco Valley with gorgeous views of the Appalachian Foothills. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
