We’d love for your happy beach memories to be made here at our cottage by the sea, The Whimsy Whale. Our island cottage is perfectly placed under a canopy of magnificent live oaks, about 300 steps away from the ocean. Nestled on a quiet beach access street, central to all the best attractions, shopping and eateries on Oak Island; close to attractions in Southport. It is one of our favorite places to spend time together and we look forward to sharing it with you, your loved ones and friends.

Enjoy the sounds of birds and ocean breeze while you grill or relax in the covered breezeway. Bring your wood and build a relaxing fire in our beautiful fire pit! This stylish spot has a kitchenette, full bathroom, closet, an amazingly comfortable bed and sofa! The perfect getaway spot for a couple or a few friends!!

Welcome to "5 More Minutes" beach house located near the ICW and Wooded section of Oak Island, NC. This open-floor plan home on pilings is on the island's west side and features a three-bedroom (three-bath)/two-full-bathroom configuration. Oak Island beaches are a short one-mile walk or drive away. We offer a 6-seater electric golf cart with a pre-paid parking pass to rent by the day. You must be over 21 to operate it. The golf cart rental fee is handled separately from the house rental.

Original beachfront cottage on Holden Beach, just steps from the sand and water. Enjoy the dolphins and shorebirds from the rockers on the covered porch. Cozy studio has been renovated with thoughtful upgrades. Kitchen is fully stocked including coffee maker, spices, condiments, and premium cookware. No stairs, ground-level are ideal for children, older guests, and pets (pet fee collected separately). Lots of amenities and beach items are provided for your comfort and convenience.

Nestled in a quiet wooded cul-de-sac street the Bungalow Near the Sea offers a spacious layout loaded with amenities to make your beach vacation comfortable and enjoyable. Only a 2 minute drive to the beach you will love our Oak Island house for your home away from home. After a day of fun in the sun at the beach return to the house for some down time playing foosball, an array of games, cook out or spend quiet time on multiple patios reading or watching tv. A plethora of restaurants and shopping are just 2 miles away on E Oak Island Dr.

Half mile walk to pier. Spacious open living area. Large dining table for games and puzzles. 3 BR (2 full, 4 twin). 1 Full bath, one half bath. April thru Oct stay Sunday to Sunday. Nov- Mar is a three night minimum. Pets allowed with pet fee. Bring your linens.
