Sundial Cottage, Northumberland National Park

Located in the Northumberland Village of Netherton this 2 bed cottage located within the Northumberland national Park. The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. Fully refurbished to a high standard to provide guests with a luxurious relaxing stay. Close to all of the Northumberland Coastal and Country favourites as well as some secret ones. Perfect for hill walking, running or cycling.

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm

Lovingly converted, pet friendly barn set on a working farm with fantastic views across the Rede valley. Open plan living/kitchen area with log burning stove and flooded with natural light. A recent addition are daily visits from our local red squirrels. Spacious and modern with underfloor heating. Tastefully furnished and decorated with bathroom featuring a walk -in shower. This cottage is perfect for couples or small families who are looking for a peaceful setting to unwind, relax and enjoy the natural countryside. It is also an ideal base for hikers on the Pennine Way and cyclists completing the Borderloop Cycle Route.

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

The Old Bottle Store is a cosy & quaint cottage tucked away behind our pub The Blackcock Inn at Falstone. Just a mile away from Kielder Reservoir we're a brilliant base for a stay in beautiful Northumberland. Amenities include a wood burning stove, kitchen (fridge, freezer, hob oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine), wide-screen TV, comfy sofa and armchairs, dining area, double bed, velux window in the bedroom for stargazing & en-suite bathroom with shower.

Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
