The Rowan Suite is self-contained within my house, giving you quiet, private accommodation . It is an ensuite double bedroom with king size bed plus your own unique lounge, overlooking garden and woodland. There is car parking and bike storage and is only a short walk from Stocksfield rail station and bus routes. Great base for trips to Hadrian’s Wall, historic properties, Northumberland National Park and the nearby towns of Corbridge and Hexham. A hamper of breakfast goodies is provided.

Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

Newly refurbished to a high standard, this beautifully presented first floor flat is the perfect bolthole from which to explore Northumberland. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance, it has a courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for one car. An excellent base from which to visit Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles, picturesque Hexham and Corbridge and the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Horsley boasts a good pub and an Arts Centre/cafe and good local walks.

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

A one bed roomed but spacious bungalow, converted from a farm building. Set amongst beautiful Northumberland countryside. The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
