Our cosy lodge offers the perfect retreat for those looking for a quiet break in the heart of an area of natural beauty. We live locally and are able to offer any advice for those new to Dumfries and Galloway.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

The area acts a gateway to Dumfries and Galloway, the UK's last undiscovered region. The cottage dates back to the 1700s and has undergone an extensive modernisation to make it a cozy retreat for up to 4 people at anytime of the year.
