The cabin offers a great "home base" to explore the beautiful Laurel Highlands, enjoy quiet relaxation at the farm, or travel to destinations along the 911 National Memorial Trail. House on the Hill

Located an easy block from the GAP trail, our house is located in a quiet and friendly family oriented area. You may hear the train occasionally but very little traffic noise. The house was fully renovated in 2023 and has all new beds, linens and living room furniture. It is on the edge of town and less than a block from the GAP bike trail, and has lockable bike storage. One bedroom has a king bed, the other two bedrooms have two twin beds each. All bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs.

Chestnut House

Relax with family, friends, or enjoy a solo retreat at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Chestnut House was built in the early 1940s, with Wormy Chestnut wood everywhere! It is a unique home, with an apartment built over a garage / wood working shop.. then connected to the main house later. This space available to rent is separate and fully functional from the main house where we live. Enjoy 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area.. along with the large outdoors!

Martha’s Cabin

Mountain Maryland's private cabin retreat is a completely renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom getaway perfect for up to two guests. The peaceful wooded surroundings with walking paths to the property's creek will bring you relaxation and peace. Only minutes from Frostburg's small town attractions, Frostburg State University campus, downtown entertainment, shopping, local area hiking trails and state parks! Our House on the GAP Bike Trail

Our house in Meyersdale is a single-family house just a block from the GAP bike trail on a quiet street and walking distance to the middle of town. The house is ideal for travelers riding the GAP, skiers visiting the slopes nearby, or those looking for some quiet time in the country. Ideal for individuals or small families. (Pls note: Trains come through town and the whistles can be heard during the day or night. There is also a fire whistle to alert volunteers to emergencies.)

Just minutes off the bike trail, this spacious home offers easy parking, an accessible ramp, and plenty of room for you and your crew to relax and enjoy what Somerset County has to offer. "Roost" in Rockwood's oldest brick house

Welcome to the Red Brick Roost Guesthouse. This historic home is the oldest brick house in Rockwood and dates to the 1870s. The house is conveniently located on Main Street in town, just .7 mile ride/walk from the Great Allegheny Passage trailhead. We also offer a locked storage area for bikes and ski equipment. We are close to other local gems: Hidden Valley, Seven Springs, the Flight 93 Memorial site, and Fallingwater. We look forward to having you roost with us!

Whether visiting family and friends or one of our area's festivals and fairs such as the Pennsylvania Maple Festival or the Somerset County Fair, our apartment is a great space.
