A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from extensive trails and about an hour from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This is not a cookie cutter house—please read listing.

Welcome to our spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath Lakefront home! Located in the Lake Almanor West. The house sits off the road, to offer privacy. The views and outside seating are absolutely stunning! There is so much to do in the area that you'll never be bored. Swimming, boating, hiking at Lassen Volcanic Park...the list goes on and on! Relax, replenish, & rejuvenate, on the West Shore! (The water level is low, and property does not have a dock. there is a boat launch just down the road)

As you turn onto Thatcher Mill you'll feel the comfort of this mountain retreat. Your tranquil drives ends at this 12 year old home that we call our cabin. It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. Enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the Pines this charming little cottage is the perfect place for a peaceful stay. This is an ideal spot to relax. Located near Lassen National Park, close to scenic lakes, local wineries and world class fly fishing spots. Detached Shop has an apartment above that the owners live in so if you have any needs or questions someone is available. The owners have a friendly dog that stays with them and is not allowed to run the property freely.
