The kitchen features electric stove and oven, pots and pans, drip coffee pot and all the utensils. There is a large downstairs covered area with a bar and a swing.

This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. It is located on the back of our property and borders the woods. The deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing splash of the fountain in our stocked pond. We offer catch and release fishing, or you can enjoy a stroll on our short nature trail that winds through the woods. We welcome you to our little slice of heaven.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
