Birdie Fell Cottage is located in the quaint village of Chapel Stile, just 15 minutes from Ambleside in the heart of the Langdale Valley, one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas of the Lake District. There is a well stocked shop and excellent pub within walking distance. There are endless footpaths, hills, trails and even bouldering on your doorstep. Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

The sitting room, kitchen & dining room are on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly installed bathrooms are on the 1st floor and a TV room and utility room are in the cellar.

Centrally located in the popular village of Bowness on Windermere, Courtyard Cottage offers a distinctive home just a 5-minute stroll away from beautiful Lake Windermere and nearby Woodland Walks. Bowness has a lively café culture, a wide selection of restaurants, bars, independent small shops and an Art Deco cinema. Take a scenic boat trip to Waterhead, Ambleside, Lakeside or hire a rowing boat or electric motorboat. An open top bus trip offers another great way to explore the area.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Located in the Forest of Bowland AONB, this luxury lodge is the perfect escape to unwind and soak in the country air. Surrounded by rolling fells and winding valleys you will feel truly relaxed after visiting Hartley’s Huts. The lodge is well kit out with an en suite bedroom in one half and kitchen/living area in the other half. The living area boasts a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere whatever the season.
