The perfect home away from home, Ruth’s Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Ipswich, featuring a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with firm queen size beds, dinning area and separate living areas. This light filled cottage has air-conditioning, high seed NBN internet access and is located a few minutes walk from the center of town and hospital precinct. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house for privacy. If less than two guests are booked and you need access to the 2nd bedroom or if the single bed is required a small additional fee applies. EV fast charge 50m down street. The cottage has been renovated with luxury finishes and fittings while still feeling homely. Both beds have brand new firm mattresses with lovely soft pillow tops and high quality linen. Fully stocked kitchen and all bathroom amenities included. Guests have access to the entire cottage including off street parking for two vehicles. We are friendly hosts always just a phone call away, but keen to give you your space to enjoy the house. Brisbane street and the mall are just beyond this precinct with more restaurants and cafe's, a supermarket is a 10-minute walk away on Gordon Street. The Ipswich central train station and hospital can be accessed on foot easily from the cottage. Ipswich art gallery and civic center are a 3-minute walk away. Metered street parking is also available in front of the property. Ipswich Train Station is a 5 minute walk away with direct links to Brisbane CBD and airport. This is a very quiet street, especially at night time.

Our property is a short walk to the beach, down a quiet leafy street. The cottage is nestled in shady surrounds in our backyard. From a private side entrance the stepping stones lead you into an airy and welcoming self-contained cottage. On street parking is safe and directly outside the property. The cottage offers privacy and an opportunity to get-away-from-it-all and relax in your own space. There are various restaurants within easy walking distance that offer an array of cuisines.

With such close access to the beach, you’ll be swimming, BBQing or relaxing within 10mins of your arrival. Margate, Woody point & Redcliffe restaurants are walk, ride or drive from the front door. Take the boardwalk all the way along the beach front to Redcliffe center. Great for couples, families with kids over 2 years, business travellers & holiday makers.

Our cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a comfortable lounge room, equipped with sofa bed and television and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a verandah to sit on at the table and chairs to take in the mountain air. The cottage has a bathroom and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette is complete with bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and tea and coffee facilities. All crockery and cutlery as well. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
