This beautiful newly renovated cabin is surrounded by woods and backed by a roaring run creek a class A native trout stream. Within walking distance to the ICV hiking and biking trail and a short drive to both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resorts plus PA's largest state park Ohiopyle, the cabin is the perfect location to experience the best of the Laurel Highlands. Our newly renovated cabin sleeps up to 2 people with a queen in the bedroom but also features a custom-made pull-out couch in the living room. Features include complete renovation inside and out, hot tub with privacy area, outdoor fire pit, automatic gas fireplace, outdoor seating area, outdoor grill, heat pump, and air conditioning, large flat screen television, and fast reliable internet. Open the window in the bedroom and let the sound of Roaring run put you to sleep. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands the eagle's nest is the perfect location for a relaxing escape or action-filled adventure. Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

Harriet's Highlands Hideaway

Nestled in the heart of the Laurel Mountain Highlands on the 10th hole of a popular local golf course 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh, Harriet's Highlands Hideaway is a charming and spacious six-bedroom, three-bathroom, three-story home perfect for family gatherings and weekend getaways with friends. Featured on the local historical society tour of historic homes, the house, originally constructed in 1830, is decorated tastefully with antiques and touches true to its nature.

Welty Place

Welty Place is a relaxing getaway nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It is just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hours drive. Ohiopyle, Falling Water, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.
