A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

Hinoki house: Traditional machiya, walk to sights.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

江戸時代に建てられた豪農邸宅をリノベーションした「あすかのまほろば」。 その離れの建物が「まほろの宿」として甦りました。 古い趣を残しつつ吉野の杉と檜を使用して、ゆったりくつろげるようにリノベーションしました。 一日一組限定の一棟貸切宿。誰にも気兼ねなく過ごせます。 パートナーと、ご家族と、グループで！もちろんおひとりさまも大歓迎。 庭の奥にある専用玄関を備えた独立した平屋の一軒家の宿です。 ヤマトタケルが美しさを讃えた「飛鳥」地域の中心地・明日香村川原にあります。 近隣には、日本初の写経が行われた「川原寺跡弘福寺」、聖徳太子生誕の地「橘寺」、明日香村や大和三山を一望できる「甘樫丘」など見所いっぱい。 「まほろ」とは、ヤマトタケルが詠った言葉で「素晴らしい場所」「住みやすい場所」を表す日本の古語です。まほろの宿で、ゆったりとした時の流れをお楽しみください。 「あすかのまほろば」の母屋は、レンタルスペースを営業中で新たなテナントも募集中。 母屋の土間や庭は利用者全員の共用スペースです。

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

こんにちは。西村邸へようこそ。主宰の杉本雄太です。 西村邸は、築110年以上の伝統的な奈良町屋です。ぼく自身が子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」を改修して2019年に宿としてオープンしました。奈良町屋のありのままの姿を残しているので不便も多く、すべてが揃うような豪奢なホテルではありません。 　そのかわり、奈良町に漂う「心地よいひなび」に浸るにはこれ以上ない場所だと考えています。駅前の喧騒をはなれた環境で「内省と回復」の手助けになればとの思いで、お部屋の書籍やベジタリアンスタイルの朝食を用意しています。（お部屋の書籍は、ほぼ全てご購入いただけます。） 　どうぞ今夜は、西村邸と奈良町の静けさの中で、ご自身の心の声に耳を澄ませながらお過ごしください。

かしの木庵は近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩3分という大変便利な立地にあります。 橿原神宮は、日本の始まりの地で、初代天皇の御陵や神社のある歴史的な町です。また緑の多い、自然豊かな所です。近隣には、日本の古代の姿がそのまま残っているような明日香があり、そこには多くの遺跡が点在しています。また、江戸時代の古い街並みが現存する今井町も見所です。 かしの木庵は、築６０年余りの純和風の家屋で、お庭も楽しんで頂けます。台所や浴室等は、リフォームされ気持ちよく過ごしていただけます。 近くには観光案内所、レストラン、居酒屋、スーパー、ドラッグストア、コンビニ、百円ショップ等もあり、大変便利です。 京都や大阪、奈良へも1時間程で着きますよ。
