After walking down several stone steps, nestled among trees and flowers, you will find a cozy guesthouse filled with a comfortable lounging area, and a quaint bedroom. Then exit to the back deck and spend time sitting by the fish ponds, you can venture onward to explore the Secret Garden where you may spot different butterflies, birds, and even friendly bees. This spacious, warm and cozy studio apartment provides comfortable sleeping for 4, with 2 queen size beds. One bed is a comfy pillow top, the other is comfy memory foam type mattress sofa bed.

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

If you are looking for a farm stay in the redwoods, come stay with us at this studio cottage with a full kitchen, washer dryer, patio, and fire pit.
