The Old Cattle Barn - Splendid Yorkshire getaway!

The Old Cattle Barn is a part of a charming 18th century farmhouse set halfway up a steep and picturesque hillside in the peaceful Calder Valley. The cosy space is newly renovated and designed for a perfect home away from home experience. To the rear of the property is a direct footpath to the Pennine Bridle Way. Just a few minutes walk will immerse you in stunning panoramic views where you can take in the wild and rugged beauty of the Yorkshire moors. You won't believe Manchester is so close.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Cosy central heated Wooden log cabin/lodge surrounded by beautiful countryside views. Ideal for those wanting to be a mile from our local village but in a quiet area. Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed, easy to use sofa bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.

Lovingly restored to a very high standard, the Old Chapel Schoolhouse is a holiday cottage full of character, and seamlessly combines many original features, such as exposed stone fireplaces, stone flagged floor, waxed floorboards, traditional old beams and antique furniture meshed with contemporary fixtures and fittings. This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

The Bolt Hole @ The Cornmill Luddenden West Yorks

The Bolt Hole is a spacious, cosy home from home in the picturesque village of Luddenden, situated between Halifax and Hebden Bridge. This is an ideal stop for a short break or for a longer holiday. This property has secure off road parking for 2 cars - an advantage as parking in the village is very limited. We have an EV charger. The Countryside is favoured by walkers (like us) and cyclists. We can recommend easy and more difficult walks from the property as well as those further afield.
