Recently filmed for Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes, The Swallow hut is quirky woodman’s hut surrounded by nature and the rolling hills, woods and rivers of Northumberland National Park and Dark Sky Park. It boasts a hand made 4 poster bed and 2 cosy bunk beds, a sofas, and cookstove. Outside there’s a private seating areas with a Hikki hottub and camp kitchen with a large cob pizza oven. It has underfloor heated Shower room facilities.

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Tarset Tor Cabins - Mars 4

Our cabins enable guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Tarset Tor in a private setting. The Cabins feature an open-plan living space with efficient biomass pellet stoves, a kitchen, living/dining area that is a great sized social space. Each cabin has flexible accommodation for 8 people in two bedrooms with en-suite showers on the mezzanine level and a ground floor toilet. A veranda affords stunning vistas that extend to the North Tyne Valley & Scottish Border.

Birks Stable Cottage

For those seeking a peaceful rural escape, Birks Stable Cottage is hard to beat with its tranquil setting within the Northumberland National Park, between Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish border. For all its blissful isolation in the rugged upland hill farming Tarset valley, the property is a mere twenty-minute drive east of Kielder Water and ten minutes' drive west of the historical market town of Bellingham, with its pretty ivy-clad stone cottages, and charming pubs.
