This wooden cabin has a vaulted wooden ceiling and bamboo floors. Camp Creek flows past the deck to the Siuslaw River. Beautiful tranquil forest vistas are there to inspire you to write your novel. Inside amenities are brand new, including a Wi-fI dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, microwave, wall-mounted swivel TV, and a ductless heat pump. Rustic riverfront cabin only steps from the world famous Umpqua River. 3bd/2ba home on almost an acre nestled in the trees. 2 Pets are permitted with approval and a fee applies, see below. There is a fully furnished kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, stove, dishwasher, pellet stove, barbeque, WIFI, streaming and a good selection of dvd's, books and games available. There is also a full size washer and dryer. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably (the limit includes infants)

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
