A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

Private lower level of our home. Located on a private 160 acre ranch with two beautiful rivers. Petroglyphs and waterfall are within walking distance of our home. The North Creek Grill @ the slot canyons inn is within walking distance of the property. Make sure you plan a dinner during your visit. The retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a small kitchenette (not a full kitchen) NO Stove only a MINI fridge, and living room. Outdoor patio space with grill and outdoor seating and fire pit.

40 Acre Escalante Canyon Retreat

This river front home tucked in between large cottonwood shade trees with views on all sides of the Escalante Canyon, meadows, cliffs, and river. Hike from the front door to first class scenic wonders. There are natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive. Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.

Our central air will keep you cool and comfortable while you cook dinner in our fully furnished kitchen or you may use the BBQ on the back patio. It is located on the edge of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and is centrally located with easy access to hiking, biking, and exploring. Southwestern Retreat is just a few blocks off Highway 12, an All American Highway, and is located between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park. The house has a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

My place is good for couples and families (with kids). The house has a living room, fully equipped kitchen one bathroom, and two bedrooms with queen size beds on the main level. Down stairs in the basement it has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bedroom with a single bed, and a common area with a sofa couch and double bed. We also have a huge yard with tons of fruit trees and a beautiful patio area.
