Gosling Lodge is situated within the grounds of a 16th Century working arable farm. Overlooking an attractive pond packed full of wildlife, Gosling Lodge is the perfect place to relax and take in the rural surroundings of Durham's countryside. Comfortable living area with gas central heating, spacious bedroom with a king size bed, power shower in bathroom. A large decked area with table and chairs, wrapped in glass. Private parking with an Electric Vehicle charging point available upon request.

Fox pod is one of 6 hand built wooden glamping pods with a private Jacuzzi hot tub on a family run glamping site. Its hidden down a farm track in the middle of farmland. It has fabulous countryside views, and access to public footpaths /scenic walks, one of which takes you to the farm shop with coffee shop and forest adventure trail. Its a 10 minute drive into Durham City with a Castle, Cathedral, University, market, shops, cinema, bowling, and rowing boats for hire on the stunning river.

Its part of a family owned 5-acre plot in a quiet village in County Durham on the border of North Yorkshire (the River Tees). It's situated along the Teesdale Way - the river passes through Richmond, Barnard Castle and eventually High Force (highest waterfall in the UK). Locally two fantastic pubs in walking distance with excellent food. An organic farm shop and roman site nearby..

The lodge is extremely cosy with impressive countryside views. Hot tub and other extras can be added onto booking (see additional notes) It has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living space that opens onto private decking with wood fired hot tub, outdoor shower (summer months only July and August) , al fresco dining, BBQ and firepit. There is an extremely large comfy king bed on the mezzanine with en-suite /shower.
