The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Our home is minutes from Rainbow Springs and Three Sisters Springs for a swim with the manatees. A daytrip to the beach is just minutes from our home and a trip to Disney is just a car ride away. Many excellent dining options are all located nearby as well!

Island Gulf Beach, 7 miles to Pete’s Pier boat ramp, 11 miles to Rainbow Springs River, 6miles to Lake Rousseau, and 6 miles from the shops, restaurants and entertainment of downtown Crystal River. The house is located on 2.7 peaceful acres, that features a play ground, fire pit, picnic area, games, and plenty of room for relaxing or having fun. 🤩

This suite has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen, living room with a sleeper sofa. Laundry room & trash access through a shared hallway.
