Kalou is a unique bolthole lovingly hand-built from reclaimed materials during lockdown. Previously sited elsewhere, the cabin has recently been upgraded to a more sustainable way of living, off-grid, and now surrounded by seamless views of tranquility and peace, nature and spectacular sunsets. Local wildlife treats include sheep, cows, displays by pheasants, random hare playing, deer running by, and potential sightings of owls. A truly unique getaway with easy access to the South Downs Way.

Rural self contained cabin retreat

Poplar Farm Cabin is located within the South Downs National Park, in the grounds of the owner's property at Poplar Farm. The cabin provides a eco-friendly, cosy, self contained retreat in the hamlet of Toat, West Sussex. It is a 10 minute walk to the River Arun, the Wey and Arun Canal. Stunning views over the farm, and it's horses, cows, sheep and free range chickens. The cabin has: free fast wifi access suitable for remote working, private parking, footpath/bridleway from our entrance.

On arrival you will be met with the most stunning views of the Meon Valley. This unique stay allows you to switch off and enjoy the benefits of being on a family run farm, which has footpaths and woodland for you to explore. The South Downs Way is a short hike away, which leads to a wonderful nature reserve.

The Hideaway” is located in the peaceful village of Houghton, just moments from where the South Downs Way crosses the River Arun. French doors open onto a secluded garden area, perfect for al fresco dining, a morning coffee in the sun, or simply relaxing while soaking up beautiful, uninterrupted views of the South Downs.

Nightingale Cabin

The hand-built, eco-friendly wood cabin is in the shaded, far corner of the 1 acre plot, facing south towards downland, across fields and a small pond where water birds gather. The cabin is full of rustic charm. It is a completely secluded and tranquil place, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a short-term escape from the hassle and bustle of city life. It provides a perfect retreat for writers or artists.

Acorn Lodge

Self-contained chalet with private parking for up to 2 cars. One double bedroom upstairs and full size foldaway bunk beds in the living room so easily accommodating up to 4 people. Situated just 2 miles from the South Downs and 3 miles from the seafront, it is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and exploring this lovely part of the country. The perfect place to stay for all Goodwood events and within walking distance of Fontwell Races, local shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Bamboo Cabin - sleeps 2

A self-contained, peaceful garden hideaway. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities you’d need for a short stay - bed linen, towels, toiletries, TV, Ninja oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and more. Located within walking distance of Chichester town centre near the train station and a short drive to Goodwood, Chichester Marina and West Wittering Beach. The cabin has private access through our garden and we also provide free parking on our driveway.

This cosy and comfortable , lodge sleeps two guests and is a short walk from Pagham nature reserve, is close to Goodwood and a short drive to the stunning beaches of West Wittering, Selsey and Bracklesham.
