Amenities include a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, induction cooktop, grill, electric fireplace, washer and dryer, luxury cotton linens, and a king mattress. Filtered lake views on a quiet street with plenty of driveway parking for vehicles and RV hookups (220V hookup may also be used for EVs). Walking distance to Knotty Pines Marina, Big Cove, and Lake Almanor Resorts, restaurants, and a convenience store.

Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Cozy Boho Cottage

Our little cottage is just right for a couple, or single guest who wants a relaxing space for exploring Chester and surrounding areas. We have a full kitchen. The bathroom & shower is small. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, and a TV. The living room has a 50 inch TV. The main source of heat is a wood stove (wood is provided) we also have 2 portable heaters. The house is small and only 500 sq ft. It is located in the back, behind another house. Parking area is in front of the cottage.

The Brewhouse Retreat

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Located in the heart of Chester a small town on the edge of Lake Almanor. This great space is located in what used to be a local antique store and the whole Airbnb has been designed to flow with the style of the era in which the building was built.

We are a pet-friendly dwelling and welcome all pets who have good house manners. As we do live upstairs with 3 pets - there will be some footsteps from time to time. This unit stays nice and cool in the summer and there are heaters to keep warm in the winter. There is lots of space to socialize and a full kitchen to utilize. Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
