Private, and tucked away from the crowds, quiet, comfortable cabin in the woods, our Koosah Cabin is the perfect base camp for 2 to 3 people as you explore all the McKenzie River has to offer. Our property is nestled in the woods, just far enough off the highway that all you can hear is the sound of gentle rushing water. Koosah is almost identical to Tamolitch Cabin. We welcome people from all backgrounds and hope to share with you our love of the outdoors and our beautiful place in the woods!

Our tiny log cabin is a cozy getaway, close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing but only 10 miles from the amenities of Bend Oregon. It is a rustic place, with modern touches, like a gas range, refrigerator, and a gas fireplace. The bathroom is detached from the cabin - steps from the door. Escape to "The McKenzie Zen Den", a luxury waterfront river cabin. One of the few rare properties built on the banks of the McKenzie River, so close you can fish from the deck! Downstairs is a riverside bedroom, full modern kitchen, and a full bath with a large custom walkin shower. Upstairs has a large bedroom, desk nook, and a half-bath.

This is a dog friendly home so you are more than welcome to let your furry friend tag along!

Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.
