With its large size, easily fit a crib (there’s one onsite) or air mattress right in the room. Our queen bedroom is not only stylish but comfortable. The nearby guest bath features custom wall art with a double vanity, bathtub and shower. Outdoor Spaces The newly renovated front porch of this house is made for fun and relaxation! In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout. Extra Amenities & Details Guest amenities include a washer/dryer, crib and high chair, parking for one car at the main house with access to more parking by request. Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.
