Goldilocks Cabin on the River

Come stay at the Goldilocks Guest Cabin in the woods along the banks of the Ocoee River. This is an A-Frame cabin with an open concept space. Double bed on main floor and the loft has 2 twin beds (if pushed together, they make a king) and a gorgeous view of the Ocoee River. The main floor has a small living room, dining table, kitchenette (used for heating up food only), double bed and a bathroom with tile shower. Outside is a fire pit, BBQ grill, picnic table and access to the dock and river

Built by your host's grandparents Frank & Bug Howard in the early 1940s this updated home is located on the 7 acres of Howard's Pond, a small getaway in Benton Station, Tennessee minutes from the Ocoee River, the Cherokee National Forest and more! Whitewater rafting, hiking, exploring outdoors, or historical sites in the area are among the fun things to do while staying at Howard's Pond! Gun enthusiasts will love Benton Sporting Clays outdoor shooting range around the corner!

The cottage has a breathtaking view of the Chilhowee mountain starting in September and last through the winter. It is visible from the dining room, living room, master bedroom, front porch, and back deck. There are three outdoors tables with chairs. It sleeps six comfortably with the option of an air mattress for extra people. It has a creek in the yard. It is 8 miles to the Ocoee river and the Hiwassee. Because you are in the National Forest there will be no shortage of parks to visit.
